Loyalty Royalty Lunch!

Crowen Plaza Hotel for their first annual Loyalty Royalty event. We had a great lunch and met many people all over Oregon that are working in the business field. Each table was given a trivia challenge to test their knowledge on royalty. The Crowen Plaza did a great job hosting this event and made sure everyone felt like royalty. This was a very fun event!

Sandra and I were promoting the American Heart Association at the East Side Health Expo. It was a very fun event, we educated the public about early warning signs for cardiovascular diseases, healthy recipes and an upcoming AHA Heart Walk! May 16th 2009, Hope to see you there! Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in America. It is so important for us to take care of our health at an early age as the AHA says, "Learn and Live."

Only The Beginning of My Journey.....

It was exactly one month ago where I was crowned Miss Teen Oregon Int'l 2009. Being awarded this title once again reminded me that dreams can come true although it is your responsibility to pursue them. Entering this pageant was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. One thing I really want all woman to know is that you may not win the very first time, or maybe even the second but do not give up trying! I almost see it as applying for a job position. When you apply for jobs you are well aware that there are other applicants applying for the same position who are just as highly qualified as you and that you may not get the position, but does that mean you stop trying too? Being in this pageant gave me the opportunity to meet an amazing group of woman all over Oregon. I am so exited and more then prepared to pursue my duties as Miss Teen Oregon Int'l 2009!
